Douglasville Weather: A Stormy, Then Clearing, Work Week

DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- Those summertime thunderstorms aren't quite done with us yet.

But give it a few days, and forecasters say the skies will be clearing.

And, this may not come as a suprise: it's going to be hot. Temperatures every day this work week are predicted to get into the 90's, or be close to it.

Here's a look at this week's forecast for Douglasville, from the National Weather Service:

Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Monday night will see a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. West wind around 5 mph. The 30 percent chance of rain continues Tuesday night, mainly before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. West wind around 5 mph. Partly cloudy Wednesday night, with a low around 72.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Mostly cloudy, Thursday night, with a low around 72.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Mostly cloudy Friday night, with a low around 73.
