Some early-week storms will give way to mostly sunny, and hot, weather later this week.

Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Monday night will see a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. West wind around 5 mph. The 30 percent chance of rain continues Tuesday night, mainly before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. West wind around 5 mph. Partly cloudy Wednesday night, with a low around 72.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Mostly cloudy, Thursday night, with a low around 72.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Mostly cloudy Friday night, with a low around 73.
