Monica, was born in Detroit, Michigan & raised in Miami, Fl. She founded Lupus Matters Corporation six years after being diagnosed with discoid and systemic lupus. Monica has 17 years in the lupus community. She has served all those years battling and surviving this illness.Although being a mother of one son was very challenging, she could not give up her fight to live and raise her son. During this time she was laying the foundation to create Lupus Matters Corporation. A foundation that promotes the awareness of lupus, raises funds to support other lupus warriors in our community and encourages them to live life to the fullest. As of May 10th, 2017 LMC, is now officially a 501c3 and is excited for the chance to grow with the Community.
