Douglasville Woman: 'Attraction, Visualization' Led to $750K Lottery Win
The mother of 3 hit the jackpot in the Georgia Lottery's Fantasy 5 drawing.

A Douglasville woman won nearly three-quarters of a million dollars in the Georgia Lottery.
Melodia Harris, 32, said she used the “law of attraction and visualization” in winning the $745,710 jackpot in the Oct. Fantasy 5 drawing.
The mother of 3 bought the winning ticket at the RaceTrac store located at 9294 Highway 5 in Douglasville.

“I’ve been saying forever that I’m going to win. I used the law of attraction and visualization,” Harris explained in a press release. “I’m a huge believer in faith, visualization and law of attraction.”
Harris said she discovered her win by checking the results on the Georgia Lottery’s website from her mobile phone.

“I was at Target in the parking lot, and something told me to check,” she said. “I didn’t even make it inside. I was screaming and in tears – happy tears.”
Harris, who has been married 12 years, is a data specialist for the American Red Cross.
“I’m going to pay off some bills,” she said. “I’m going to put some aside for my children’s college fund and help family out as much as I can.”
Winning numbers from the Oct. 1 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 4-14-18-26-29.
