Douglasville's Chad Thomason Elected to Bankers Leadership Committee
He will serve a two-year term on the Georgia Bankers Association committee.

Chad Thomason, senior vice president at Metro Bank in Douglasville, has been elected by his peers in the northwest part of the state to serve a two-year term on the Leadership Executive Committee for the Georgia Bankers Association (GBA), according to press release.
Created in 1958, Leadership GBA is committed to developing the future leaders of the banking industry. The goals of the program are to promote leadership development, educate the public about banking, create networking opportunities and provide bankers with the opportunity for involvement in the legislative process.
“Chad is a strong leader and great banker, and we’re fortunate to have someone of his caliber serving on this Committee,” said Parrish Clark, executive vice president, Guardian Bank, Valdosta and current Leadership Executive Committee president.

Thomason has worked in banking for 22 years and joined Metro Bank in 2008.
Thomason received his undergraduate degree from Mercer University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.

Thomason is locally involved in the Kiwanis Club of Douglas County and Leadership Douglas County.
