Dwayne Edward Crews, 45, Dies

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Kelly Runels, and Rev. Robert Masse y officiating.

Dwayne Edward Crews, 45 of Whitesburg, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 26. He was born March 16, 1968 in Carrollton, the son of David James Crews, Jr. and Blanche Stitcher Crews. He graduated from West Central Technical College with a degree in Computer Aided Design. He worked as a machinist with DieTech and with Speciality Machine & Fab. He attended Holy Ground Baptist Church and enjoyed coaching softball with the Carroll County Recreational Department.

Survivors include his parents, David & Blanche Crews of Whitesburg; children: Tyler Crews, Victoria Crews, Olivia Crews, Amelia Crews, and Jackson Crews, all of Carrollton; fiancé, Sabrina May of Whitesburg; sisters: Tara & Jason Davis of Sand Hill and Cyndi Crews & Jay Hanna of Carrollton; niece, Taylor Davis and nephew, Doc Davis.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Kelly Runels, and Rev. Robert Masse y officiating.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon and from 2 until 4 p.m.
