Metro Atlanta highs will be in the low 80s. When will the rains return?
ATLANTA, GA — It looks like it's going to be a lovely Easter weekend in metro Atlanta.
There's not a drop of rain in the forecast for the next few days, and high temperatures will be hanging steady in the lower 80s. On Easter Sunday itself, forecasters are calling for a high of 81 degrees under partly sunny skies.
There's rain in the extended forecast, but it's not due in the Atlanta area until Monday, when the National Weather Service calls for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 a.m.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Partly cloudy Sunday night, with a low around 61.
