Ernest Lee Tucker, 82, formerly of Douglasville

Mr. Ernest Lee Tucker, age 82, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, formerly of Douglasville, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. He was born on July 17, 1932 in Douglas County, the son of the late Herschel and Maudie Parks Tucker. He was a retired Welder and a Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Martin Tucker and son, Mark Lee Tucker.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Tucker of Pinedale, Wyoming and Gregory Tucker of Blue Ridge, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Ellen and Robert Morgan and Ruth Roberts, all of Temple; brother, Millard Tucker of Douglasville; grandchildren, Bruce Tucker, Ryan Tucker, Austin Tucker, Matt Tucker, Jason Tucker, Morgan Tucker, Terri Winkler, Dylan Miller, and Justin Tucker; several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 4:00-9:00 P.M.
