Music Camp & Fine Arts Academy at Douglasville First United Methodist Church

This camp is a fun, educational, creative journey to discover and encourage the development of your child’s musical ability. Due to budget cuts in our public and private schools, our intention is to provide a means for children to discover, pursue, and develop their abilities in music through the camp as well as private instruction in our Fine Arts Academy. A limited number of scholarships are available this year to make sure children have the opportunity to attend music camp. Studies have proven that many children who participate in music and the arts have improved scores in other subjects, such as math and science.

This year’s camp will be Monday through Thursday, July 23-26, from 9-12:30 and is for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost of camp is the same as last year which is $80.00 and is due at the time of registration. There will be a program on Thursday evening at 7:00pm in Patricia Tidwell Hall, located on the ground floor of the Family Life Center building.

You can register and pay online or by bringing cash/check to the church office. Please indicate “FAA summer music camp” on the check memo line.
