Piano Recital and Lecture at UWG

UWG alumna Dr. Evren Kutlay returns to campus on Nov. 11 for a lecture and piano recital at Kathy Cashen Recital Hall.

Kutlay has a master’s in piano performance. She earned her Ph.D. in her nativeTurkey.

In the lecture recital format, a musician performs and guides the audiences with explanations and visual aids to better inform their musical experience.

The performance is at 2:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public. It will be part of UWG’s 26^th Annual Interdisciplinary Humanities Conference, entitiled “Sultan on Stage: Composer Sultans and Their Works in European Style.”
