UWG Art Professors to Exhibit Work in North Georgia

University of West Georgia professors Joey Hannaford, Stephanie Smith and Debrah Santini are among the artists whose work is currently on display at the Hambidge Center's Weave Shed Gallery in Rabun Gap. "Flow" is an appreciation for the natural resources in the area.

This is in connection with the Chattooga River Festival.

The artists from the Atlanta Printmakers Studio explore the flow of water, nature, energy and time.

The printmakers featured in this exhibit are also fellows of the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. Though they work in a variety of media and styles, each artist incorporates some form of printmaking in the work.

The Hambidge Center has a long history of presenting outstanding pottery and ceramics. The Weave Shed Gallery has recently expanded its focus to include sculpture, quilts, weaving and other interesting artworks from Hambidge Fellows and outstanding talents from across the region.
