
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A five-car accident in Douglasville on Wednesday night killed two people and sent several others to the hospital.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a white Kia was traveling north on Ga. 92 when it rear-ended a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck.
The Tundra was forced into oncoming traffic, where it hit a blue Toyota Camry head-on. The Camry stopped near where it was hit, but the Tundra flipped over and struck head-on a dark blue Ford F-150, which was also traveling south.

Meanwhile the white Kia continued north, where it hit a gray Toyota Camry head-on.
The drivers of the white Kia and the blue Camry were killed in the wreck, the state patrol said.

A passenger in the blue Camry was taken by air to Grady Hospital in Atlanta. A second passenger in that Camry, the driver of the Tundra and the driver of the gray Camry also were taken to area hospitals.
The state patrol was not releasing the names of those involved in the wreck Thursday morning, as family members were still being notified.
