Georgia Weather Forecast: Sunny and Warmer This Weekend
Had enough rain, metro Atlanta? Saturday and Sunday both promise to be sunny, with rain only forecast as a possibility in the evenings.

ATLANTA, GA — Metro Atlanta saw more than its share of soggy days and stormy nights this week. But, will this weekend be any different?
Thankfully, the answer is yes.
Thursday's storms ushered in a cold front that left things overcast and just a bit chilly on Friday. But, by Saturday morning, we should be back to more typical springtime weather.

High temperatures should be around 70 on Saturday and Sunday (compared to 55 on Friday) and skies should be clear — though there will be a slight chance of showers both Friday and Saturday nights.

Here's a look at the weekend weather forecast for metro Atlanta, from the National Weather Service:
Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Northwest wind around 15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 25 m.p.h.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 69. Northwest wind 15 to 20 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 30 m.p.h. Saturday night, a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 5 to 10 m.p.h. Sunday night, clear, with a low around 48.
