Georgia Weather Forecast: When Will It Rain This Week?

ATLANTA, GA — You may be asking when it's going to rain this week. But, in metro Atlanta, the better question, perhaps, is when it's not going to rain.

On three out of five days this work week, there will be a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The other two days are no slouches, either — sporting a 40 and 30 percent chance of rain, respectively.

And it won't just be north Georgia's daily afternoon-evening showers, either. On at least a couple of days this week, the chances of storms and showers are going to kick in in the morning.

It's going to be pretty hot, too. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday, are expected to have a high of 89, while Thursday is forecast to get up to 90.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Thursday night, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 75.
