GHSA Football Playoffs: Douglas County High, Alexander, New Manchester Reach First Round
Douglasville is well represented in Georgia High School Association football playoffs.
Three Douglas County football-playing schools have qualified for the Georgia High School Association playoffs, which begin this weekend.
All three teams will play first-round games on the road Friday night.
In Class 6A, Douglas County (5-5) will play at Hillgrove (7-3), which beat McEachern last week to win the Region 4 title. Douglas County, which has won its last two games, is the No. 4 seed from Region 3.

In Class 5A, Alexander (8-2) and New Manchester (6-4) have first-rounders in enemy territory.
Alexander, the No. 3 seed in Region 5, plays at Stephenson (7-3), the No. 2 seed from Region 6.
