Girl Injured After Being Hit By Car In Douglasville: Report
The girl was running from a dog when she went into the road and was hit by a car in Douglasville, a media report says.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A 10-year-old girl had to be taken to the hospital after she was recently hit by a car, causing serious injuries, WXIA-TV reported Tuesday.
The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. Monday, Labor Day, in the area of Stewarts Mill Road, according to the news report. Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene.
The girl was walking with other children along West Stewarts Mill and ran into the road after a dog ran towards them, GSP told WXIA-TV. A Nissan Murano reportedly then hit the young girl.
