Girls Program hosts Rites of Passage Debutante Program
Participants, Sponsorships and Local businesses sought for Spring Debutante Cotillion

Lithia Springs – Rites of passage are not a thing of the past and this year, Ladies In Waiting, Inc., is inviting High School Senior girls from the West Metro Atlanta area to participate in their second Crown Jewel Debutante Scholarship Cotillion.
During the five-month rites of passage program, potential debutantes will attend enrichment workshops covering topics including, but not limited to, college prep, academic achievement, self-esteem and motivation, peer pressure, body image, and proper etiquette. Additionally, the program provides an opportunity for the young ladies to raise scholarship money for college, and will also acknowledge them for their academic performance and service to the community.
Graduating senior girls who demonstrate exemplary moral standards, school involvement and outside activities are invited the opportunity to participate in these workshops, awareness sessions and educational and personal growth activities that will serve them well as they transition into adulthood.
This exciting program will culminate with the Debutante Cotillion that will be held in Douglasville, GA, on May 17, 2015. Local businesses are encouraged and invited to support participants through Sponsorships, Souvenir Journal Advertisements and ticket purchases. The Debutante Cotillion not only supports the core programs of Ladies In Waiting, Inc., but also allows the program to award well deserved scholarship funds to Debutantes as they prepare to attend college.
