Gravity Games Speeds Through Downtown Douglasville
Powered by gravity, the cars start racing at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Gravity will be on display Saturday in Google’s second Georgia Gravity Gamesin downtown Douglasville.
The event is a real-world experience for students and adults from across the state to use STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills to build and race their own gravity-powered cars.
Cars may be propelled only by gravity to get them across the finish line.

More than 30 teams have registered, and more than 1,000 people are expected attend.
Racing begins around 9 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony around 1:30 p.m.
