Great Day for a Hydrangea Festival

The Fourth Annual Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival brings vendors of all types to the DC Courthouse.

Local vendors brave the heat to share their crafts and information with attendees of the Fourth Annual Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival. There were antique treasures, pieces of handmade jewlery,  artwork, and even plants for sale. The festival market was just a small part of the Hydrangea Festival, taking place on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. Gardens across town were on display and open for tours both days, including the Moonlight and Magnolias event on Saturday night where a special dinner was served to attendees. The event was complete with flower shows and educational classes taught by the UGA Douglas County Extension Office.
