This year’s Hydrangea Festival is quickly approaching and contestants need to get ready for the embellishment contest. Each year, contestants are awarded ribbons and prizes for the best display on mailboxes, lampposts, gates, fences, signs and doorways. This year’s theme is “Passport to Cityline”. You do not have to live in the city to participate. County residents are welcome. And, this year’s theme is one that has few boundaries! You can let your imagination go wild and create a scene from many different cities around the world.
Entries must be submitted by May 27, 2018 midnight. The entries can be emailed to Keep Douglasville Beautiful at info@keepdouglasvillebeautiful.org or mailed to PO Box 219, Dougalsville Georgia 30133, or dropped off at City Hall. Please include pictures of your embellishments and the address of your business or home.
Winners will be presented an award ribbon and 2 tickets to the Hydrangea Festival Garden Tours.
