Janet Marie Parker Lovett, age 73, of Lithia Springs, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She was born in La Follette, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Malcolm Earnest Parker and the late Wanda Marie Lay Parker. Mrs. Lovett was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church in Lithia Springs and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Moses Harvey “Mose” Lovett of Lithia Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Wesley Evett of Douglasville; one granddaughter, Lillian Evett; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene “Gene” and Peggy Parker of Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Reverend Kenneth Hennesy officiating.

Interment will follow in the Union Grove Memorial Gardens at Union Grove Baptist Church with Colton Parr, Corey Parr, Joshua Hennesy, Harold Parr, Merrill Folsom, and Jason Rathel serving as Pallbearers.
