Janice ‘JR’ Sue Rainwater, 73, Dies

Janice ‘JR’ Sue Rainwater, 73 of Douglasville, passed away Friday, Oct. 25. She was born March 6, 1940 in Fonde, KY.

Mrs. Rainwater was a cosmetology teacher at Chattahoochee Technical School and worked at K-Mart in Douglasville for 22 years as a lay out coordinator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Thelma Haynes.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Rainwater; sons, John Rainwater and Linda Pace, Charles Rainwater and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Andrew Rainwater, Tyler Rainwater, Larkinn-Rose Rainwater, Annabelle Rainwater; sisters, Anita Stiffler, Virginia Miller; brothers, Charles Franklin Haynes and wife Barbara; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 5 until 9 p.m. Mrs. Rainwater will be cremated following the visitation.
