Janice Traylor Young, 67, Great Grandmother

Janice Traylor Young, age 67, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2014. She was born on March 1, 1947, in Randolph County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Elbert Traylor and the late Willie Anne Ogle Traylor. She was a cafeteria worker and a Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marcie Melton; sister, Lois Gilley; brother, Grady Traylor; and brother-in-law, Jim Morris.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jimmy Queen and Wanda McArthur of Adairsville, Joann McAdams of Rockmart, Billie Sutton of Villa Rica, and Bobby Joe McAdams of Cartersville; sisters, Julie Bell of Wedowee, Carolyn Davis of Carrollton and Marvelene Morris of Douglasville; brothers and sister-in-law, Quinton and Eugenia Traylor of Newell, AL, Frank Traylor of Carrollton, and Carson and Ann Traylor of Roanoke, AL; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Mitzi Oates officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 P.M.and also on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 P.M.
