Jonnie Gentry Coleman, 74, Dies
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel.

Jonnie Gentry Coleman, 74 of Roopville, formerly of Mableton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1939 in Heard County to the late Dave Gentry and Hester Lee Shoemake Gentry. She was a graduate of Young Harris College and was a member of Welcome Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, preceding her in death is daughter, Lesley Kay Coleman; sister, Clarice Crumbley and brother, Jimmy Gentry. Survivors include her loving husband, Bobby Coleman of Roopville; son, Edward Allen Coleman ( Dannett) of Rincon, Ga.; son, Paul Walter Coleman (Heather) of Mableton, Ga.; daughter, Sandy Coleman Pugh (Russ) of Marietta, Ga.; sisters, Gwynn Jackson (Ken) of Cherokee, N.C., Janice Todd of Roopville, Jackie Roberts of Atlanta, and Ruby Wiggins (John) of Roopville; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Jerred Evans and Rev. Jimmy Drew officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel.
