K-9 Unit Receives Benefits From Students Kicking

Douglas County Sheriff Office K-9 Unit Receives Donation From Martial Arts Students

Thursday, October 22, 2015 Lt. Michael Barnhill and K-9 Officer Ace, along with Lt. Billy Lashley received a donation from Chatham’s Academy Of Martial Arts 3699 Kings Hwy, Douglasville GA 30135. The students of Chatham’s AMA raised $1,657.00 for the K-9 Unit’s new kennel and grooming area during their annual Kick-A-Thon. The students are required to do community service in their pursuit of becoming a Black Belt. This year the proceeds of the community service Kickin’ For K-9s were donated to the Douglas County Sheriff Office K-9 Unit.
