Lane Closures Happening on Maroney Mill Road
Motorists are being encouraged to avoid the area, in north Douglasville, where paving work is taking place.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Paving work happening on part of Maroney Mill Road in Douglasville is causing lanes to be shut down.
Authorities are urging motorists who can avoid the area to do so during the paving job, which will continue through Friday.
The work is going on all the way between Burnt Hickory Road and State Route 92, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Construction flaggers will be directing traffic during the lane closures. Motorists using that part of Maroney Mill Road should expect delays, the sheriff's office says.
