Leonard Barron 'Buddy' Acree, 66, Navy Vet, Owner of 'Ice Buckets'

Graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery, with Navy honors.

Leonard Barron “Buddy” Acree, age 66 of Douglasville, passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2014. He was born September 12, 1948 in Atlanta to the late Elzie Barron Acree, Jr. and Lithia Lottie Lois Brown Acree. He was Veteran of the US Navy and retired, self-employed business owner of Ice Buckets, an Ice Machine Service. He was a former and post commander of the American Legion, 5th District.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wooten Acree and brother, James Edward Acree.

Survivors are his sister: Vickie Rainwater; brother: David Blaine Acree, Sr.; aunts: Doris Hicks and Barbara Gordon and significant other: Patricia Daniel.

Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA., with Navy honors.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
