Linda Faye Roberts, 50, Dies

Linda Faye Roberts, 50 of Carrollton, passed away on Friday evening, Nov. 22. She was born on Nov. 28, 1962 in Bremen, the daughter of the late Rev. Thomas Ralph Chapman and Brenda Joyce Griffis Chapman. She worked her career in nursing with Home Health Services and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed riding horses and playing with her grandkids.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law: Tamara and Rick Zorik of Newnan and Shanna & Garrett Feis of Carrollton; granddaughters: Haleigh Dawn Zorik and Sydney Marie Zorik, both of Newnan; and grandsons: Robert Emery Morgan of Carrollton and William Hayden Bentley of Villa Rica. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Anthony Puckett and Rev. Gary Farlow officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Rick Zorik, Garrett Feis, Tim Roberts, Mike Cantrell, Ricky Boatright and Eric Benefield. Interment will f ollow in Sargent Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 until 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Linda Roberts’ Memorial Fund, c/o P. O. Box 215, Carrollton, Georgia.
