Authorities accused the man of charging toward deputies and a woman with the knife.
LITHIA SPRINGS, GA — A man accused of trying to attack a woman with a knife was shot to death by Douglas County deputies Monday night, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute around 10 p.m. at a Brook Street home. When they arrived, the GBI said deputies saw a woman who was covered in blood attempting to get away from the man.
The man was accused of refusing to drop the knife, and instead, charged toward the woman and deputies with the knife, the GBI said.
