Luther James Wright, 80, Dies

Luther James Wright, 80 of Lithia Springs, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 2. He was born June 2, 1933 in Dekalb, to the late Jonah Jewell Wright and Emma Bowman Wright. He worked during his career as a professional landscaper for Green Leaf Landscapes. He was Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Camilla Dair Copeland Wright.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Costner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mozley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends today, Thursday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and also on Friday, Oct. 4, from noon until the service hour of 2 p.m.
