Man Charged After Bomb Threat At Douglasville Hospital
The hospital was placed on lockdown Tuesday due to the bomb threat, police said.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A man was arrested after police say he called in a bomb threat to Wellstar Douglas Hospital Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched to the hospital around 3:30 p.m., and the hospital was placed on lockdown, police said Thursday.
Latarus Whitley, 45, was arrested in connection with the case. According to jail records, Whitley is being charged on suspicion of terroristic threats and acts. Records show no bond has been set.
