Man Convicted In Shooting Of Douglas County Woman: Report

The man faces life in prison plus 61 years, a report says.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — A man is convicted of kidnapping and aggravated assault after authorities say he tried to shoot and kill his then-girlfriend in 2019, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The outlet reported Dedrick Murray, 47, is convicted of kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault, terroristic acts with serious physical injury and stalking in connection with the case.

The shooting occurred at the woman's Douglas County home, the outlet reported.
