Man Robs Villa Rica Bank, Police Seek Public's Help To ID Him

Villa Rica Police need the public's help to identify a man who they say robbed the Sun Trust bank Monday afternoon on West Bankhead Highway.

VILLA RICA, GA — The Villa Rica Police Department needs the public's help to identify a man who they say robbed the Sun Trust bank Monday afternoon on West Bankhead Highway.

At approximately 2:25 p.m., Villa Rica Police responded to the Sun Trust bank after they say a man presented a note to the bank teller and robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money. The man then fled the bank and ran towards the rear of Farmer’s Furniture, according to police.

Officers searched the area but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect. The suspect is described as a man approximately late 40s to early 5os, 5’8”, with a slim build.
