Man Steals Cash From Douglasville Kroger (ICYMI)

The thief grabbed a bank bag as employees were checking out self-service terminals, police said.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Police are seeking a robber who snatched a bank bag from an employee at a Douglasville Kroger last weekend.

The thief entered the Kroger at 630 Thornton Rd. at about 9 a.m. on Sunday, according to Douglasville Police. Once inside, the man approached a clerk who, along with other employees, was removing cash from terminals in the store's self-checkout area.

The robber pushed the clerk, then grabbed a blue bank bag marked with the number 503. He ran out of the store and into the area of Waterford Apartments, police said.

The robber did not speak during the incident.

He is described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male, standing about 5'6"-5'8" with a medium build. He was wearing a red T-shirt, dark jeans and a black baseball cap and was last seen on foot behind the Kroger shopping center.
