Marine Vet Richard 'Danny' Daniel Roman, 66, Dies

Richard ‘Danny’ Daniel Roman, 66 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3. He was born July 1, 1947 in Columbus, GA.

Mr. Roman was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving two tours during Vietnam. He was a master technician in commercial heating and air-conditioning for more than 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Carolyn June Sinquefield Roman and his brother Norman Roman.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Roman; son, Chris Roman; daughter, Carol Ludeman and husband Ed; daughter, Tracy Carter and husband Fred; grandchildren, Christian Roman, Ashley Budahazy, Damian Budahazy, Tyler New, Nathan New, Hunter Carter; brother, Steve Roman and wife Mary; sister, Nancy Alexander and husband Chris.

Danny was cremated and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
