Betty Mae Leonard, age 74 of Douglasville, passed away, Thursday, June 04, 2015. She was born October 26, 1940 in Longmont, Colorado to the late Jacob Boos and Barbara Schell Boos. She worked for the Douglas County Board of Education as bus driver and cashier. She was a member of Crossroads and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Lee Leonard; daughters and sons-in-law: Mandy and Andy Smith of Oakwood, Tracey and Richard Williams of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marilyn and Joe Ray, Cindy and Bob Cabanaw, Kathryn and A.B. Maynard; brother and sister-in-law: John and Jane Boos; grandchildren: Amanda Rodriguez , Amber Washington, Christy Smith, Jackie Williams and Jacob Williams; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Julian’s Espicopal Church, 5400 Stewart Mill Road, Douglasville.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated.
