Junior Ray “Buzz” Busbin, age 67, of Villa Rica passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was born in Villa Rica on November 24, 1947 to the late Artis and Ruth Landcaster Busbin.
He worked for 10 years with the Douglasville City Fire Department and 22 years with the Douglasville City Police Department. Buzz was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Scott Harper (Boots).
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janet Streetman Busbin; Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Debbie and Kirk Whitaker of Villa Rica, Lisa and Lon Bell of Douglasville, Michael and Michelle Busbin of Villa Rica; Grandchildren, Chanda, Kasey, Mitch, Amber, Rachel, Brandi, Jessica; Great-Grandchildren, Skylar and Aubrey.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Ephesus Baptist Church, 8445 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica 30180, with Dr. Billy Godwin and Reverend Bryan Alexander officiating. .
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to: Ephesus Baptist Church, 8445 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica, GA 30180 or Sweetwater Baptist Church, 2302 Sweetwater Church Road, Douglasville, GA 30134 (Building Fund)
