Linda Susan Watson Davis, age 65 of Douglasville, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. She was born November 8, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Harold Ainslie Watson and Gertrude Faye Harris Watson. She worked as an Insurance Clerk for the Baptist Home Mission Board and for Dillard’s as a customer service representative. She was a member of Prays Mill Baptist Church and was in the Berean’s Sunday School Class, and enjoyed working in the nursery for over 30 years. She loved traveling and cooking, especially trying new recipes.
Survivors are her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Lee Davis; daughter: Faye Elizabeth Davis of Douglasville; brothers and sister-in-law: Larry and Beverly Watson of Douglasville and Tony Watson of Douglasville; aunt, Nancy Calhoun of New Orleans; nephews, Jim Watson, and his wife, Jamie, and Davis Richardson; great niece and great nephew, Thomas Watson and Lily Watson; sister-in-law, Susan Richardson, and her husband, Don of Powder Springs; brother-in-law, Jim Davis, and his wife, Joan of St. Simon’s Island; cousins, Kathleen & Carl Nettleton of New Orleans and David and Sharon Calhoun of Spokane, Washington.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Prays Mill Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Buice officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
