Mrs. Lessie Ree Burke, age 90, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. She was born on February 23, 1925, in Bainbridge, Georgia, the daughter of the late Turner Burke and the late Darnella Miller Burke. She worked at Scripto for many years and was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Mr. Willie Burke, Mrs. Lillie Burke Chamberlain, and Mr. Marion Burke.

She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Fannie Burke Owens of Kennesaw, Georgia and Mrs. Helen Lee Sanders of Bainbridge, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 19, 2015, at West Georgia Memorial Park, with Pastor Bernard Burke officiating.

Interment will follow in the West Georgia Memorial Park.
