Mrs. Rachel Simpson Casey Holt, 90, of Winston, GA, formerly of Piedmont, Alabama died March 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Casey and J. W. Holt; parents, George A. and Alice Hendon Simpson; brothers and their spouses: Melvin Simpson (Billie), Roy Simpson, J. C. Simpson (Elzia), Ollie Simpson (Mary), William Simpson (Helen), Dan Simpson, and Mahlon Simpson: sisters and their spouses, Edna Simpson Bearden (Hill), Hazel Simpson Kite (Frank), and Barbara Simpson Bowles (Bill): several nieces and nephews. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and several cousins. Mrs. Holt was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel (Douglasville) on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Antioch Church of Christ, Highway 5, Douglasville, on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m. She will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Minister Bill Prince, Jr. will be officiating.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain Springs Cemetery, Piedmont, Alabama, the same afternoon at 2:30 p.m. central time.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pruitt Hospice.
