Rodney “Rod” Hugh Brown, age 65 of Douglasville, passed away, Thursday, January 15, 2015 from injuries sustained in a fall. He was born April 30, 1949 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam Era. He owned and operated J & R RV Service, Inc. He was a Mason with the Campbellton Lodge #76 and was Methodist by faith.
Survivors are his wife, Janet Crawford Brown; daughter and son-in-law: Andrea and Robert Zoellner; grandsons: Nicholas Zoellner, Spencer Zoellner and Michael Zoellner; sister, Nancy Koester; brother and sister-in-law: , Bill and Sada Brown sister-in-law: Beverly Brown; mother-in-law: Jean Crawford; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alton M. Brown and Gladys Roberta Shirley Brown and brother, Mackey Brown.
Graveside Service will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM Central time at the Memory Hill Gardens in Tuscaloosa, AL, with Rev. Gary Lee officiating.
