In Memory: Roscoe Arthur Brookshire, 81, Winston

Roscoe Arthur Brookshire, age 81, of Winston, GA, passed away, Monday, January 19, 2015. He was born May 26, 1933 in Ellijay, GA. He was a Veteran of the US Army, a material handler for General Motors and a member of the Douglasville Church of Christ.

Survivors are his children and their spouses: Brenda and Winfred Moss of Douglasville, Roscoe and Renee Brookshire of Winston, Jeff and Robin Brookshire of Ellijay and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Brookshire and Vina Stamey Brookshire and his wife, Pearl Inez Brookshire.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Minister Ron Bradshaw officiating.

There will also be a funeral service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Hill Methodist Church, 4500 Highway 52 East, Ellijay, GA 30536. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel.
