Vincent Gene Vineyard age 56 of Douglasville, met Jesus face to face Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was born November 10, 1958 in Amarillo, TX, the son of the Gene and Dena Vineyard.
He was a dedicated, inspiring teacher and coach in the Douglas County School System for 32 years, where he was affectionately known as Mr. V. During his time out of school, he travelled to different parts of the world spreading the gospel.

His passion grew strong for those in different countries, especially in Burkina Faso and Honduras, where he went on several mission trips. Vince was active at Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA. He loved to serve others through the church’s ministries. His life’s purpose was to live a life that pointed people to Jesus. He stayed the course and finished his life on earth well.
His legacy is being carried on by his loving wife, Sonya Vineyard; children and spouse: Caleb and Kristen Vineyard, Micah Vineyard, and Luke Vineyard; brothers and sister-in-laws: Jay and Karen Vineyard, David and Melissa Vineyard, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family, Friday, May 1, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the memorial chapel.
Celebration Gathering will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the New Manchester High School Theater.
