Douglas County District 2 Commissioner Kelly G. Robinson is bringing together experts in the field for a Mental Health Awareness Forum to be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 20th, in Citizen’s Hall of the Douglas County Courthouse. The Forum has free admission and is open to the Public.
The topic of the Forum is Mental Illness in our Jails, Schools, Churches, Families and Minds, and Commissioner Robinson has invited the following to speak/present:
• Dr. Alduan Tartt - Christian, Psychologist, Speaker, Personality
• Dr. Pamela Thompson - Psychologist, Life Coach, Therapist
• Dr. Dennis Herendeen - Forensic Psychologist, The Psychology Center
• Dr. Belinda Ross - Psychologist, Counselor, Speaker
• Lt. Garry Jones (retired) - Author, Speaker
• Ms. Vikki Hankins - Co-host, Editor and Overcomer.
The program is co-sponsored by The Psychology Center and the Cobb and Douglas Community Services Board.
