Mrs. Bobbie Jean Spence Oxford, 81, of Villa Rica

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Hightower's Memorial Chapel

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Spence Oxford, age 81, of Villa Rica, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014. She was born in Nelson, Georgia on November 9, 1932, the daughter of the late Ernest Spence and the late Willie Duff Spence. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at Walmart until her retirement. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Douglasville.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Merrill Oxford; and her brother, Billy Spence.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Anthony Yarbrough of Villa Rica; sister, Betty Spence Oxford of Douglasville; grandchildren, Bruce Allen Yarbrough and Kimberly D. Brecher; great grandchildren, Stephen DeCastro, Brandee del Rosario, Caleb Yarbrough, and Joshua Yarbrough; great-great grandchildren, Lilliana del Rosario and Abigail del Rosario.

Memorial Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. in Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Thomas Garner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 P.M.
