New Douglasville Business Park Could Employ Up to 2,000
The 320-acre Riverside West Business Park will be located within Tributary and could include up to 3 million square feet of developed space.

A newly-planned, 320-acre technology corporate park will be coming to ; it was announced Thursday afternoon. The Riverside West Business Park will be located within the master-planned Tributary development.
The business park could employ up to 2,000 people and "will be marketed to data center operators and companies seeking a corporate campus," the Atlanta Business Chronicle said.
"The City of Douglasville looks forward to working with the Rooker Company, the , the City of Douglasville Development Authority, and the Douglas County goverment on this exciting development," Douglasville Mayor Harvey Persons said in a statement.

"Riverside West Business Park will be a short distance from the Riverside at Sweetwater Creek development of some 2-5 million square feet which was announced early in June," reads the statement. "Both of these developments reflect the type of employment centers on which the City of Douglasville is focusing. They will bring many good paying jobs to the Douglasville - Douglas County Community."
The Atlanta Business Chronicle points out that "the challenge for Douglas County with its tech and life sciences focus, is that every city and county — nationwide — is chasing those sectors. Finding adequate numbers of skilled talent that tech and life sciences companies require could be a tall order."
