New Manchester High School Positive Athlete of Georgia Winner

Kandi Hudson, a Junior at New Manchester High School is a back to back winner of Georgia's Positive Athlete Award ( 2015 and 2016 ) . Kandi, who is a guard on New Manchester's varsity basketball team is ranked by Max Preps (Americas source for high school sports) as #7 in the region in 3 point shooting and in the top 20 for blocked shots. Her accomplishments go beyond the hardwood and extend into the the community. As CEO of Karing Hands (karinghands.net) a non-profit organization that provides food, clothing, hygiene products and other necessities to the less fortunate. Karing Hands also provides school supplies to a random Elementary School every year; in 2016 the organization started the "Karing Hands Athletic Scholarship" in a partnership with the Positive Athlete Organization which goes to (1) male and (1) female athlete that has shown a positive example in their sport and their community.
