The Douglas County River Dogs are going to bring exciting professional football action to the area as they build for the upcoming season. As a member of the NDFL, the River Dogs will offer tryouts for young men who have a passion for football and are seeking an opportunity to play NFL rules football with commitment to the team and using this opportunity to compete for a championship. The NDFL (National Developmental Football League) is a league that provides a platform for players who are looking to advance their skills to the next level, whether it be for college, arena or the NFL.
The Douglas County River Dogs are a team made up of individuals who are about making a positive impact on the community with solid principals and dedication towards successful leadership.
"Building a team made up of hard working men who believe in team work with the dedication to become champions has been my dream for years and the Douglas County River Dogs are the realization of these goals, George Duker said, owner. "I want to deliver a team that Douglas County will be proud to call its own and an organization that young men will want to become a part of.

The Douglas County River Dogs are looking for quality players in the Douglas County area from Douglasville, New Manchester, Lithia Springs, Chapel Hill and beyond to add to the team which is established and preparing for the 2012 season which opens March 6.

Official Tryouts:
Oct. 29, 30; at 11 a.m.
Nov. 5, 6; at 11 a.m.
Nov. 12, 13 at 11 a.m.
Tryouts will be held at the Roundtree Recreation Center, at 172 Shipp Circle
Hiram (between Hiram Sudie & Nebo Roads). There is a $50 registration fee which includes a physical, t-shirt and meal. For more information, contact
