A snapshot was shared showing a Douglasville Police officer helping a homeless man at intersection.

The compassionate actions of a Douglasville Police officer has attracted lots of warm sentiments from residents after a photo was shared on Facebook this week.
The photo shows an officer after he had given a homeless man some food and drink Sunday morning. Douglasville PD shared the post Wednesday. The officer was not identified in the post

“One of Douglasville’s finest... I see this homeless young man sitting at this intersection almost every day. He doesn’t ask for money, he just sits there and talks to himself. This morning, on our way to church, this officer stopped to check on him. He talked with him for a minute, then walked back to his car and picked up a bag with some food and a drink to give to him. #Compassion #ServeAndProtect”
