Officers from United Arab Emirates Visit Douglasville

Several members of the Sharjah Police Department in the United Arab Emirates toured the Douglas County Jail Facility on December 9, 2014.

The UAE is in the process of constructing and modernizing their detention facilities and visited the jail to see many of the latest technological features used to manage inmates and control staffing costs.
The jail staff conducted a tour for Major Abdulla Mohamed, Captain Faisal Salim, Captain Walid Ibrahim and other engineering and technology staff showing them features of the jail.
