Peggy 'Teenie' Moody, 73, Dies

Peggy “Teenie” Moody, 73 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19. She was born March 23, 1940 in Haralson County, to the late Homer N. Lambert and Ludie McWhorter. She retired from State Farm Insurance Company where she worked as a secretary and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Carol Chapman of Carrollton, Alecia and Keith Moore of Carrollton, and Tom and Susan McGraw of Fruithurst; sister, Burnese Harper of Rome; grandchildren, Judith Mouton of Carrollton, Jeffrey Green of Carrollton, Joseph Green of Carrollton, and Arista Holt and Austin Fordham of Fruithurst.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Shane Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Moore, Robert Smith, James Smith, Clint Lambert, Tommy Harper and Dale Nix. The family will receive friends today from 5 until 8 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel.
